"Tips for Reading" Series Shows How to Make Family Reading Time a Celebration

RCTV recently teamed up with Hipocampo Children's Bookstore and Jordan Health Foundation to produce a 3-part series of bilingual videos featuring Hipocampo co-owner Henry Padrón.

Padrón, a retired RCSD Kindergarten teacher, shares tips on how to read to the young people in your life, including how to "read the pictures" and design extension activities. As Padrón says, the idea is to make reading time a "celebration."
